December 10th is World Human Rights Day – the day which the UN General Assembly adopted in 1948. The principles in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights are still as relevant today for maintaining and sustaining an inclusive, intercultural, and respectful society for everyone. Together, we must stand up for our own rights and those of others, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, culture, ability, or income. We can take action in our own daily lives and uphold the rights that protect us all while promoting the kinship of all human beings for a better and more inclusive present — and future.
