Established in 2021, the LOEWE FOUNDATION / Studio Voltaire Award celebrates talent, individuality and original thinking within contemporary art practice. The first chapter of the award benefits seven artists with two years of support, including mentorship, a bursary and rent-free studio space. As we head into the second year, we commissioned awardee Josiah Moktar @josiahmoktar to photograph portraits of their peers and their studios. Here is a selection of Moktar's images from the series.
