Best Summer Getaways in Upstate NY Woodstock is an adorable town less than three hours from NYC. I had a great time here recently, here is my 3 day itinerary We checked into the gorgeous @Woodstock Way Hotel. Built right next to a beautiful brook and waterfall, it’s walkable to town. It also has a communal terrace, a coffee shop, and has floor to ceiling windows so you really feel a connection to nature. Woodstock is super walkable, so we wandered down to Early Terrible for some drinks, and Yum Yum Noodle Bar for some boba and dinner. Day 2 started off with a delicious brunch at Oriole 9, followed by a super chill walk around Tinker street taking in the sights, checking out the shops, an making kitty friends. One of the coolest bars in town is The Station, it’s literally an old train station and has great drinks and the most unique decor. Next we had dinner at Good Night, a beautiful Southeast Asian restaurant, Followed by a nightcap at Que lo Que, a Dominican spot with the best flan. Then a bath in the hotel’s deep-soak tub. We finished the trip the next day grabbing coffee at Woodstock Way’s coffee shop The Tannery it’s so cute.
