brothless ramen?! say less 🙈👀 📍@mogumogu_la costa mesa, ca $$ 〚what I ordered 〛 ❀ deluxe mazemen (5/5) - $15.50 decent portions, noodles were sooo chewy with great texture, and all in all so much flavor especially when adding homemade umami vinegar! very filling and satisfying meal 🍜 ❀ mogu chicken (4/5) - $6.50 a decent appetizer to try! i liked the sauce & the chicken was crispy 🍗 is it worth it? yes I think it’s worth the try! if you like ramen, you might like it brothless too & they have so many options of mazemen 🤩 they also serve ramen! 『 if you’ve never tried mazemen - this is your sign! i recently tried mogumogu since I was interested in trying brothless ramen! when i went, there was no wait & the servers were so friendly. 😌 i ordered the deluxe since it had everything i wanted, and i followed the instructions on how to properly eat it. first, you need to try the mazemen itself after mixing it, then once you’re halfway through your bowl, add the homemade umami vinegar! afterwards, they will serve you with a small scoop of rice to eat with the leftover sauce in the bowl. they also have the instructions up on their wall! i really liked it with and w/o the umami vinegar (*'▽'*) overall, the portions were decent to me & it was quite a filling, flavorful meal! the mogumogu chicken was also a nice little appetizer to have. since this restaurant is close by, i think i’ll definitely come back again to try their tokyo or kyoto mazemen. i also won’t forget to get a side order of the spicy chili oil to add to my meal (you can check in on Yelp to unlock their offer of 1 free spicy chili sauce) ☺️ they also have happy hour so that’s also something to check out 👀🍻』
