Happy Sexual Health Month! In my 7th grade health class, we were all handed a paper clip & instructed by our teacher to unfold it - stretch it out, make it as straight as possible. Then we were asked to put it back together & remake the perfect paper clip shape. After we all struggled to do so, our teacher proudly stated “this paper clip resembles your virginity. Once you have sex, you will never be perfect again.” 📎 That was it. That was the sex ed lesson. Luckily, I have a cool mama who gave me a detailed & positive birds & the bees talk with an American Girl book (ikyk ladies) & endless breadsticks at Olive Garden.
