The purpose of this post is to bring awareness to the general public that this is Americans helping Americans. About American citizens coming together for the greater good of our country. There is so much devistation but the efforts on the ground are powerful. Just know we are here putting in the work. I flew 6 missions yesterday on 2 sorties. 3 out of the 6 missions were "dry" meaning no one was there or they already had plenty of supplies. We are working off softly vetted tips so please make sure your requests are personally vetted and you have had contacted these individuals within the last 4-6 hours. Don't believe everything you hear (or don't hear for that matter) online and keep the donations coming. The people down here NEED it.
