CHRISTMAS ANGEL // It’s only the second time in my grown-up life that I have put down a Christmas-tree. For very long, I associated the Christmas tree and all the festivities around it, as something fitting in a cosy family-life, you know the one which is shown in every commercial and Christmas-movie. My life has been around the world and has taken the most incredible and unexpected turns, but never has it led me to bespoke family-life. Since not so long, I decided that family-life is what you make of it, sometimes it can be a feeling, a sentiment, or a thing you create with people of your own choice. Sometimes it’s something you experience on your own. Reading a book in your sofa, for instance, all wrapped up in blankets and layers of knits, is family-life. It’s not because we are not shown many examples of this kind of alternative versions of cosiness around the Christmas-tree, that we can’t make them for ourselves, and enjoy them to the fullest. 🎄

Here’s to you, to yoúr version of celebrating Christmas, especially when it doesn’t look like the images we see EVERYWHERE with thousands of gifts, kids running around, grandparents and bonfires.
