Happy Election Day! To find your poll site and see a sample ballot visit vote.nyc/page/find-your-poll-site. If you are surprised there is even an election, you are not alone. In NYC, it is an off cycle election that happens every 10 years after redistricting of City Council districts. You are voting for City Council, judges and two ballot initiatives. To learn more about the ballot initiatives visit www.elections.ny.gov/2023BallotProposals.html. Polls close at 9 pm. If you believe you are registered to vote and your name does not appear in the poll book on Election Day, you are entitled to receive an affidavit ballot. You can complete and submit the ballot at your poll site. The NYC Board of Elections will notify you by mail if your ballot was counted or not. #vote #votenyc
