Antarctica opened my eyes and was the wake-up call I needed to start living more intentionally and taking action to save our planet, before it’s too late We were there last week at the same time of a record-breaking heatwave in other parts of the continent, 70 degrees above normal, which caused an ice shelf the size of Los Angeles to disintegrate within days (the first time this has happened since satellites began observing Antarctica nearly half a century ago) Grateful for @love.radha @eliclarkdavis and the @dybrkr team for bringing together such an extraordinary group of people committed to making a difference, many of whom like me were so touched and inspired by the Frozen Continent and this peak life experience that we are pledging to take action I have much to process and even more to learn but as a starting point here is my personal #AntarcticaPledge (Swipe to the end of the album to see)
