A quick escape to Mexico was just what we needed 🩷 ⁣ We spent 3.5 days / 3 nights at @excellenceplayamujeres and honestly it was the perfect little getaway. The adults only resort had an amazing mix of great food, fun activities, and total relaxation. 🏨 We booked the Junior Suite Spa/Pool View, which was tucked away on the more tranquil side of the resort. The main pool had a lively vibe with music, activities, and a swim-up bar, so we’d hang there during the day and then sneak back to our quieter spot when we were ready to relax. It was the best of both worlds! ⁣ 🌊 Blaise took me sailing on their cute little catamaran, we soaked up a lot of pool time, he got in on sand and pool volleyball, and we even spontaneously joined a beachside cocktail-making class (10/10 recommend). ⁣ 🍣 Our favorite dinner? Spice — the hibachi restaurant (the only one requiring a reservation), and luckily we snagged a spot on our last night. Totally worth it! ⁣ 💆‍♀️ I also treated myself to a spa day and WOW. It started with 45 mins of hydrotherapy, followed by a 50-min massage, and finished with 25 mins of reflexology. Pure. Bliss. ⁣ ✈️ We booked our airfare and airport transfers through the resort, which made things super easy. Flew into Cancun, and it was about a 40-minute ride to paradise. ⁣ If you’re looking for an adults only all-inclusive in Mexico — peaceful, beautiful, and full of things to do (or not do) — this spot was a win for us.
