⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️ ➤ DISPOSE OF WASTE PROPERLY DO NOT LEAVE TRASH ON TRAILS ➤ RESPECT WILDLIFE AND DON’T FEED THEM ➤ BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHER VISITORS ⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️ As with many winter hikes the winter trail is different than the summer trail! Also, there is avalanche danger so proceed with caution. Artist Point is probably my favorite snowshoe trail I have ever done. The pictures and videos does not do it justice! I also backpacked here one year in the winter and it was so beautiful but cold!!! Also, a little scary since I could not see a few feet in front of me 😬. 📍Artist Point ⛰️ Mileage: 4.0 miles, roundtrip 🥾 Elevation Gain: 1000 ft. ✨ Difficulty: Moderate Before setting out on any winter hikes suggested by anyone on the internet make sure to do your own research! Winter hiking can be very dangerous, due to hypothermia, avalanches, and tree wells. If you want more information I have a blog post on best winter hikes in Washington. Click link in bio and then click “22 Best Winter Hikes In Washington State”. Also, save this post for future reference. Shown in video: @kait.ek
