Ideal movement patterns? I'm not sure it's the road that coaches and athletes suppose to take for all cost.
For me there isn't such a thing like ideal movement pattern, let's say it can be optimal for this person and by optimal I mean painless and with good performance as a result. It is good to know how it supposed to look and how to teach it. Just remember that everyone of us is different, have different bone structures, extremities length, flexibility etc. So it's impossible to put everyone in one bag. Everybody have their own compensations during movement, which are perfect for their bodies and their conditions at this moment. Don't look for "this one" pattern, explore movement and try to progress it or make regression if needed. Give a time to body (nervous system, muscles, tendons, tissues overall...) to adapt and find it's own way to achieve a task. Just look for optimal results of a task without fear and without significant pain (sometimes pain is avoidable , for example in tendinopathy).
Play with the movement and build a plan around it ✌️
