Chadwick High School participated in our 24hrs of homelessness program here at @thelamission. It was a unique opportunity for the students to serve our friends and neighbors, and participate in an immersion experience to intimately understand the direct challenges facing our friends and neighbors in Skid Row today. Most importantly, it was an opportunity for them to become empowered by their experience working and sleeping amongst our community and take back a feeling of compassion and activism to do a little more for those in need. ⠀ What are some meaningful ways you could think of to help our community?
