Here’s a big dump of memories to go with my very big feelings. I don’t really have the words to express my gratitude and appreciation and the endless love I have for HiHi. While I’ll still be here in some capacity as Creative Director, tomorrow will be my last official shift behind the bar. I’m sure they’ll hate this, but I owe Matt and Eric a pretty gigantic “thank you”. Thanks for trusting me and letting me get real weird with the menu and genuinely really caring about people. I love you guys a boat load. The staff, past and present, who I’m endlessly lucky to have met and gotten to work with and learn from each and every one of you. Many of you are now stuck with me for life. To all the guests who’ve come through the doors, you’re the reason we do this. And to all our regulars, you know who you are, thanks for making this the best job in the world. Thank you to my work wife, Melissa. You’re a queen and I love you. Anyway, I don’t know man. This post might have stopped making sense a while back. I’m sad and happy and excited for the future and just really fucking grateful for everyone that I’ve met because of this little bar.
