I owned my Acura TL for 13 long years and thousands of miles in NYC, including a road trip that brought me sheer cross-country. Never broke down on me, not once. My father told me then to make sure that I buy what I really wanted and not settle for less. What makes my new car extra special for me is that my father had a tiny red Alfa Romeo when we were growing up. Completely impractical for a family when his two daughters no longer fit in the back seat lol. But it was his dream car then. And that’s how I wanted to feel. I love the part that me living my dreams is an extension of my family’s dreams.
