We’re so proud to celebrate first-time director Johanna, whose debut short film ‘By Your Side’ screened at Soho House Berlin for friends and family! Johanna was part of a 2024 fellowship program led by our founder, Jolene Rodriguez. Earlier this year, ‘By Your Side’ premiered in Los Angeles, which was sponsored by Friends of Julie. Seeing Johanna’s work on an international screen is a huge accomplishment and a reminder of why we do what we do. We will continue to create opportunities for filmmakers to share their stories with the world. 🌍
