Today was the last day of being the German Marathon Champion for now and I even forgot to wear my jersey during the last training session today (so no "last day picture" 🙈) I won’t be on the start line at tomorrows fight for the stripes since I want to save my legs for Sundays short race competition 💨 It’s bitter to give away the jersey which made me so proud last year without even fighting for it this year but it would be overconfident to think I could win both titles in my current shape 💁‍♂️ Since I left Val di Sold a month ago I feel like the season finish is already far behind us, so it’s a bit of a strange feeling to still have races left now, although they are not super important anymore 😣😵‍💫 Still I feel healthy and strong again so I am quite confident that I can do a good race on Sundays short track...
