Opened in 1988, @thachchehienkhanh is a longstanding Vietnamese dessert shop with an incredible story. Brian Nguyen and his brother were originally engineers, but wanted to try something new for themselves after being in the States for a few years. His brother had the ability to taste dishes once and replicate them, so through repetition, they learned how to make the desserts. Business was very slow for the first few months, but then word spread within the Little Saigon community about this little shop that featured traditional desserts from the motherland and the business took off. Thach Che Hien Khanh has always been a family affair.
