"the only thing that's breaking UP is my family" -falsettos • today was our last official day of classes, and my last official day at amda. of all the semesters, this was my favorite, because it finally felt like i have a purpose. if you had asked me on the first day here what my career here would have looked like, i would have told you that i was going to be one of the greatest things to come out of this school. that i was going to get spotlight my first semester, show and tell my third, and get cast on broadway by my fourth. none of that happened. instead, i learned that my dreams are more than fame and success. i want to be surrounded by people i love, creating art we can change each other with, loving each other the way we deserve. i started to do that. and for the first time i can say that i stopped to listen to my present needs so i can do the things i want to do in the future. for once i will be taking it slow with myself and savoring what i see. thank you to i4a, and elaine, and david cady, and keith, and amanda, and casey, and michelle, and christen and liz and anneka, and diana, and dakota, and gianluca my love, and all those who carried me here. i love you! and i will keep creating for the things you gave me. • (olive gets sappy again after being the most downbeat loser for fifteen whole weeks)
