Non-Greeks are always so curious about it, and I love explaining how a Nameday isn’t just a celebration it’s a small anchor to heritage. Today is mine — Saint Catherine’s Day — and I’ve always loved that she wasn’t remembered for royalty or miracles but for her mind. A woman known as an intellectual, sharp and unafraid to challenge the world around her. I love carrying a name tied to someone who stood so firmly in her ideas.
