It is an honor for me to see my name behind such esteemed forces for good. Thank you to my fellow board member @darrenwalker for introducing @clooneyfoundationforjustice to the world & thank you to my friends & our fearless leaders Amal & George Clooney for leading by their example ... & not just with platitudes. They have both fought against injustices around the world. They have also been so supportive to me personally over the years as we pushed for Armenian Genocide recognition in the United States & I have witnessed them fight against everything from genocide against Yazidis to the lack of basic freedoms — including the lack of a free press & other abuses in Azerbaijan — to kleptocracy in South Sudan & more. It is humbling to work with them & create a partnership with @promiseinstucla to push our collective work further. #TheAlbies - named for Justice Albie Sachs - will shine a light on true human rights heroes while supporting the multi-pronged missions of the CFJ. While we are preparing massive initiatives globally, I am also personally focused on the abuses against Armenians in recent years & will do what I can, wherever I can, to make a difference. While I know the wheels of justice grind slowly, justice will eventually be served thanks to CFJ & all of you around the 🌎 who care about good prevailing over evil 🔥💪🏼🙏🏼✊🏼
