It’s been exactly 1 month since we said goodbye to our boy Oakley. There’s still days where it feels like it was just yesterday that we said bye. Regret and guilt are still on my back some days too. Then there’s some days where I’m content and okay with everything. Pet grief is real and it’s weird to explain unless you’ve been through it. I’m so glad I opened up about this grieving journey I’m on because so many others are with me too. Even if it’s been years later.
