Wayback Wednesday. My husband found this footage and we had us a good laugh. He thought it was a great idea to have us skip the beach that day and go way up in an ultralight flyer while on vacation in Cabos. It’s essentially a flimsy kite with 2 chairs in the sky. And he was trying to talk me into doing a free fall controlled dive like he just did. What were we thinking? I was petrified and contemplating my life choices. Needless to say this was a one and done. I will never do it again. And what compels us to be adventurous on vacations when we would never dare do it in our own backyards? I add “advanced” zip lining in Costa Rica to that list. Tree top rainforest walk and white water rafting.
