#SmarterInSeconds: “Good” vs. “Bad” Foods in collaboration with @Black.Nutritionist and featuring @SavagexFatty 🍩🆚🥗 co-written by @catuccino Diet culture, fatphobia, and systems of oppression have created false hierarchies of food and it shows up everywhere. We are all incorrectly taught from a young age that our size, and therefore the food we eat, are markers of our self worth. Moralizing food (as “good” or “bad”) can lead to unhealthy relationships with food and disordered eating. Instead of focusing on “good” and “bad” choices, try to approach food with neutrality in mind. NOTE 🚨I am deleting ALL comments that come from the stance of “WELL ACTUALLY, *insert food* IS BAD FOR YOU.” Because these comments show that you did not even internalize the lesson and are adamant on not participating in learning today. And no, this is not “silencing” because you can talk about moralizing food on your page. Not mine.
