If the trip is being posted, that means I’ve already left 🤷🏾‍♀️ I don’t share my live location for several reasons. First, I'm not too fond of live posting during a trip. For me, it takes away from the fun of the journey. But most importantly, it’s to protect my safety. It’s effortless to identify where someone is on social media. It only takes a sign, a street number, or a small detail for some to know where you are. And I’m not paranoid, but I would rather be safe than sorry. Here are some things I do to keep safe: - delaying all posts as much as possible (and yes, this includes my stories) - not disclosing my trip dates - sharing my live location with only close friends and family for my safety - not going on live in an identifiable location Again, you don’t have to do this, but this is what I do. And yes, it means most people never know where I am. But, as I said, that’s how I like it sometimes, lol. Do you post your trips live? Why or why not?
