If you’ve ever wondered how to get a SUPER DEFINED twist out, keep reading. I usually like my hair BIG but when I am looking for a more defined look, here’s what I do. 1. Start on freshly washed and damp ( not soaking wet ) hair. Starting on damp hair speeds up your drying time. 2. Apply a heat protectant like the @curlsmith_official Miracle Shield . 3. Section your hair into medium to small sections and detangle. *Remember* the bigger your twists, the more volume you will get. The smaller your twists, the more definition you will get. 4. Apply your styler to each section and twist. I used the @melaninhaircare Twist Elongating Style Cream because it’s super moisturizing. 5. Make sure your hair is COMPLETELY DRY before taking down your twists. You can air dry or use a hooded dryer like I do. 6. Separate your curls to your liking. Follow the way your curls naturally separate to reduce frizz. 8. For additional length, stretch your roots with a blow dryer. And that’s it!
