Today is my beautiful Mum’s 80th birthday. It has been nearly 3 years since I have been home to see her. I was hoping to go back last April...but we know what happened. I know I should be grateful that I have a mum and dad who are 80, alive, and still together (after 65 years). But it’s painful not to be there for their milestone birthdays and not knowing when we can see each other again. Mum, I love you so much and deeply miss you, Dad and David.
