There is nothing more gratifying than doing something you love. After my pivot this summer, i wanted to do something more meaningful and explore my creative side while in Bali. I explored the traditional Balinese markets, found some exquisite organic cotton and knew i wanted to do something with it. Through a friend of James, I met Ayu who is a talented craftswomen and i showed her a sketch of a dress i wanted. When i saw the sample i was blown away by her work! Lys Blanc (@ScentOfALily) was born and i aptly named my first piece, the Bali Dress. I’m really delighted about this collaboration with Ayu, it’s doing so much for her family after the pandemic.
