This week at @raviniafestival, James Conlon led the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, @apollochorus and a talented cast of international vocalists in concert versions of two powerful Mozart operas as part of a series of performances celebrating the composer entitled Mozart in the Martin. They began Thursday evening with Don Giovanni, captivating the audience with this cautionary tale of love, lust and destruction, and continued Friday with La clemenza di Tito, delivering a performance filled with both passion and finesse.
