LETS RECAP ON CHECKING THE TATTAS
Step 1: Feel for Lumps & Swellings in your breasts, chest & armpits
Step 2: Look for changes in your skin like puckering (it can look a little like orange peel) or indentations (skin being pulled inwards)
Step 3: Check your nips! Keep an eye out for new discharge, indentations, rashes or a change in direction
Step 4: Take a look at your breast in the mirror, take note of any dramatic change in size or shape, redness or inflammation
Step 5: Be wary of pain (this symptom on its own isn’t normally something to worry about but take note of when the pain comes and goes)
The key here is to learn the symptoms & then learn your body! Get to know what is normal for you, the best way to do this is to check once a month every month, if you notice any changes that last over 2 weeks or anything you are not sure about, get checked by your GP
