@drone_golf on the scene! 🎥 Work continues on the replacement of the Cheshire Bridge over South Fork Peachtree Creek. 🦺🚧 The bridge was severely damaged by a fire that started at the base of the bridge on Aug. 4, 2021. C. W. Matthews has construction crews performing work both daily and nightly, Monday through Sunday. Work includes placing the final beams across the bridge footings, shore wall work, and utility relocations. Night work will not include drilling or any other disruptive noise to nearby residences; the work will be performed by specialized bridge carpenters at night under the bridge. The projected opening of at least one lane of traffic in each direction: October 31, 2022. 🎃👻
