[8/9] The A-Z West compound by artist @andreazittel is a high desert test site in Joshua Tree, California. Since moving from her A-Z East compound to A-Z West in the 1990s, Zittel has been developing an ever-evolving succession of prototypes for living. The 80-acre compound is home to a main house and many other sculptures and experimental projects, including these wagon station sleeping pods. Also important - there are rescue tortoises 🤍
