A few days ago I took one of the most intense exams of my life, and…:::drumroll::: I PASSED!! 😅🥳 I’m so excited to be able to say that I am officially a Certified Sommelier 😁🍾 Thank you to the @mastersommeliers_americas and especially to all of the AMAZING people in the DC Somm community, who not only helped me grow as a wine professional, but also helped to reigniting my love and passion for wine 🥂 I also wanted to take this moment to say THANK YOU to all my friends and family who have encouraged and supported me through this wild and crazy journey. The last 6 months has been a lot, to say the least. From making the decision to leave my fulltime job to receiving a diagnosis of overlapping lupus, arthritis, and Sjoren’s Syndrome (an autoimmune trifecta!), it has truly been an emotional roller coaster 🎢, and I’m so grateful to all the amazing people in my life who have continued to show me love and support as I’ve been navigating this period of change. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🥰
