Ever wondered what I get up to in my sessions?
Here is my workout from last week.
At the moment I’m aiming to go to the gym 3 times a week. I haven’t got a specific goal right now, but I’m actually really enjoying moving my body and not working towards anything in particular which is ok. You don’t always have to be goal focused in your training.
I’ll write up the session below in case you want to incorporate some of the exercises in to your own workouts.
A1. Trap bar deadlifts 4x8
B1. Glute ham raise (with knee flexion and hip extension) 3x8
B2. Chin ups 3x4-5
C1. Hip thrusts 3x8
C2. Seated row 3x8
D1. Walk it off for 10 minutes ish
It’s not long or fancy. I’m out of the gym in bang on an hour, but it is really teaching me that often less is more when it comes to strength training.
