Their legs are too slender to propel their large bodies upwards and, because they actually are standing on their toes, they don’t have any spring in their legs. These sweet toes belong to one of the baby orphaned elephants at Reteti Elephant Sanctuary (@r.e.s.c.u.e). They just celebrated their sixth anniversary.
