Dear Volleyball, Thank you for everything. Thank you for the all the successes and failures I have had with you. Thank you for all the amazing people you have brought into my life. Thank you for letting me play with my sister and having my aunt influence me to play past high school. Thank you for letting me find something I love to do with others. Thank you for showing me what it means to be a good coach for my future players. Thank you for letting me be supported by my family, friends, coaches, and teammates. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to show off my talents and how to work hard for a goal. Thank you for guiding me on what it takes to get through mental battles. Thank you for the endless memories you have given me. Thank you volleyball as my athletic career with you is officially over. I can’t wait to see what my coaching career with you becomes. This sport, at all levels, is forever thankful for the little girl who decided to pick up a volleyball one day and never turned back❤️
