They’ve rolled out the green carpet for our show “Begin Where You Are” that opens next week at Gladstone in Korea. Here we are, installing algae-colored carpet and live aquacultures of micro algae in the gallery. This show touches on key moments in the 15 years of my artistic practice, from tempura fried flowers, to work inspired by my travels in the Brazilian Amazon. This journey through time and space would not be complete without paying homage to the deep research my studio has done with algae over the years.
