@mschf's AC.1 Shoe: Heart of a Medical Boot, Sole of a Sneaker.
Meet @mschfsneakers' AC.1, a shoe that very intentionally looks like the average medical boot prescribed for people with broken feet or sprained ankles.
Made of flexible molded rubber, the MSCHF AC.1 has all sorts of features you might find within the average sneaker: ankle support from a dual-airbag sole unit, a grippy high-traction outsole, and a removable water-resistant bootie.
"The first time I ever saw someone wearing a walking boot I thought it looked incredible," Daniel Greenberg, MSCHF co-founder, said. "Industries with little to no regard for aesthetics designing objects for utilitarian purposes churn out bangers like no one else.
For the price you could get a couple real-deal medical boots. But they probably won't be nearly as comfortable for all-day strolling. Plus, you can't ball in those! Well, you probably shouldn't be hooping in MSCHF's AC.1, either.
Releasing October 19 through Highsnobiety Shop, MSCHF Sneakers' website and select stockists, MSCHF's AC.1 is yours for $450 a pair.
