Happy 10th birthday to my business today (thankyou’s tagged!)! I’ve always seen my business as a beautiful opportunity to grow, to pursue a purpose, a way to give back or change the world in my own little way, through doing what I love so much. As I get older, I become much more aligned to that purpose, that vision. In a world that can be so tough, my art has given me strength, and as an artist, I always knew there was no other option. Even as a little girl I knew creativity was my passion. I made this business work. There was no option. As the business has evolved, my confidence has grown, & I find myself, simply as a woman just becoming herself, evolving with the tides, navigating ups and downs but always drawn to seeking solutions and moving outside of comfort zones towards new territories. (Watch this space.) My biggest challenge recently has been learning to have more time out, prioritising health, non-work life & time. I intend to become much more selective with the commissions I take on from now on, to allow for better balance. As the new website comes together and the vision I have for the next 10 years;I intend to evolve KJ into the company and creative empire I’ve always dreamed of. But I want to do it my way, with a conscious, mindful approach, committing to taking the business from six figures to seven, but in a way that feels good, & prioritises health. No hustle. Only quality & authenticity for myself & my clients. I want to thank the growing team I have built around me. A huge Thank you needs to go to my manager, to my photography team/s, assistants, colleagues & amazing clients. I am forever grateful for you. (Have tagged some of you on pic!) Iv always wanted to make everything around me beautiful. It has truly always been my life & fulfilled me in a way I can’t explain in words. I will do it until I’m not here anymore. So much yet to come, thanks for sticking with me so far & here’s to the next ten!
