Today we mark the start of #HispanicHeritageMonth with a post remembering Puerto Rico native Carlos Lillo, who lived in North Babylon with his wife, Haydee Cecilia. In his 16-year EMS career, he helped deliver 36 babies - one of whom was even named after him. On 9/11, Lillo responded to the South Tower with the FDNY's EMS Battalion 49.
