It’s Canada day! My parents, both Canadian citizens before they were American citizens, really liked that one of their daughters was born on Canada day. So, yeah, it’s also my birthday today. ☺️ I am enjoying a really lovely cup of local MN coffee in a gorgeous new piece of pottery I picked up in Asheville, NC. I’m here to tell you, the little things are the big things. So: Stop and smell the farmers market fresh cut flowers. Hold hands. Sing. Be outside in the sunshine. Snuggle. Read. Hug. Write actual cards. Let someone help you. Help someone. Hold babies. Like, as much as possible. Kiss. Laugh. Don’t dwell on the yucky stuff.
