It’s hard not to begin to love, or at least become curious about, Columbus, OH when reading @nifmuhammad ’s books. Flying in last week I felt like I was entering a mythic city. Hanif and the Wexner did not dissuade or disappoint. Each day was full of discussion, the stretching of ideas, and the chance to play music on the best possible terms. Enormous thanks to Hanif for our conversation on Thursday, the kind of conversation that feels like surfing, or dancing, or singing in a shape note choir.
