I feel like I'm finally starting to make progress with our house renovations. I can even put a reel together of multiple vignettes. Little wins. For what seems like a long time I've felt each room was only 50-70% complete. Being finished with a room seemed elusive. Either I didn't know what the room needed or how I wanted to style it. Many times I've doubted my personal style would mesh inside my traditional colonial house. For me, renovations and decorating haven't been a linear start to finish process. I seem to make progress in one room, then come across something another room needs. Shopping at antique dealers and outlet stores leads to surprise finds and great deals. The finds are rarely what I originally went to the store for. Now many rooms are 80% done and gaining momentum, and that feels good.
