🕯🍊Cauldron Simmering Potpourri🍎🕯 Warm days...crisp nights...changing colors...falling leaves...cozy sweaters...and of course the enticing aromas of Fall are all things I LOVE about this witchy season! Fall is in the air here in Maine and that means many of my favorite autumnal scents are too. Apples, citrus, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice! These seasonal fragrances make us happy and give our homes a cozy and inviting feel. I love to craft a simmering Fall potpourri to capture this homey ambience. I brew it in my cast iron cauldron with a tea light burning underneath (or simmering in a pot on the stovetop). I include fresh citrus slices, cranberries and currants, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, and vanilla pods. Not only do these ingredients smell incredible, but they contain magickal properties that center around love, healing, psychic powers, luck, and protection. Simply add some water to your cast iron cauldron, add ingredients, give it a stir (clockwise to release the magickal properties of the ingredients), and place your tea light(s) underneath your heatproof vessel. As your potion warms, enjoy all of the enchanting Fall scents! 🍂🍎🍊🕯XX
