It’s been 60 days. I’m not sure how we got here. Quite frankly I didn’t think I’d make 5 minutes. Sometimes I still don’t feel like I will. But I’m proud of us. Not because it hurts any less or that anything has gotten easier, but because it’s gotten harder and we are still pushing through the anguish of your absence because you’d want that. You’d be proud of us. We have the weight of the world but we can feel you holding us up. • Sharing our story and our life has always been a part of us. And while it is painful and makes me so vulnerable to share our darkness, I pray that in some way our story inspires you. • I hope you cherish life’s little moments I hope you love big and deep I hope you choose kindness I hope you check on friends and family I hope you get priorities straight I hope you give more than you ever expect to receive. And most of all I hope you live. • Life without you is unimaginable. But I’m learning that just because I stand alone, doesn’t mean I’m alone.
