Maddie requested a major haircut 💇🏽‍♀️ and I’ve been putting it off, because I was worried she may regret it. I’m so glad I listened to her. I took her to @sharkeysnewyork hair salon for kids and we are both pleased with the results. On our way home, Maddie said, “She did a great job! And then when she looked in the mirror at home she said, “I look so magical!” 💜 Growing up, society has taught us that long hair equals beauty and that’s not true. Beauty comes from within and we can form our own opinions on what is beautiful. I’m encouraging my daughter to embrace her own beautiful.
