An exterior view of the first floor hosts Chiara Spagnol and represents the recent restoration project that has given Casa degli Artisti a new public face and an efficient vibe. Chiara, one of the two curators, is surely a Slytherin: icy, slender, and reserved. She doesn’t come from a Visual Arts background but studied Architecture instead. She dabbles in creative forms of writing based on the synchronicity of vision, allowing the potential visualization of three-dimensional contents that wouldn’t otherwise exist. In her free time she guides MA students through their formation at the Academy of Brera. Her spirit animal, just like mine, is a cat: nocturnal, independent, hindered by the allergy of many, symbolic in its recurrent poses such as the perfect arch of its curved back. She was born under the sign of Aries, Taurus rising, Moon in Gemini but has three planets in Pisces. For this shot — a reference to the iconography of la bela Madunina — she drew inspiration from Madonna Figure by Katharina Fritsch. Di certo una Serpeverde, Chiara — algida, longilinea e distante — è una delle due curatrici: non ha studiato arte ma architettura. Si diletta in forme di scrittura che invocano la sincronicità della visione per permettere la possibile visualizzazione di contenuti tridimensionali altrimenti ancora inesistenti e nel tempo libero segue la formazione degli studenti magistrali dell’Accademia di Brera. Il suo animale guida, come d’altronde il mio, è il gatto: notturno, indipendente, osteggiato da troppe allergie. Simbolico nelle sue pose ricorrenti tra cui spicca l’arco perfetto della schiena ricurva. È nata sotto il segno dell’Ariete con ascendente Toro e luna in Gemelli ma ha ben tre pianeti in Pesci. Per questo scatto che cita liberamente l’iconografia della bela Madunina, si ispira a Madonna Figure di Katharina Fritsch. #casadegliartistimilano #spaziolibero
