#duet with @buttery_binges as a huge comic lore fan, Ive said this exact thing for years when ppl had pushback on race bending characters that have only historically been white due to historically racism being the status quo. There are MANY characters that if created today at their core probably wouldnt be white, shouldnt be white or at the very least don’t HAVE to be white. I dig how this creator laid out just why pushing for more characters of color, different orientations and genders wont close the gap by itself given the decadesssssss long headstar straight white male characters have had, no problem this large can be solved with just one course of action #blerd
