Working in primary care doesn't have to be overwhelming. You can open a private practice, like mine, where you don't take insurance. This is the direct primary care (DPC) model. Charging a low monthly fee and offering discounted tests and medications will make you a great asset to your community. It won't always be easy. You may have to hustle to find patients.
