Join us for the Festival of Chariots, an annual celebration of Indian culture and tradition, today from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the parking lot located at 401 East Main Street (across from Hotel Indigo) in Downtown El Paso. Enjoy a FREE vegetarian feast, shopping, authentic Indian music/kirtan, theatrical performances, an Ayurvedic Tent, Vedic Astrology readings, yoga, a meditation booth, henna and face painting and more. World-renowned kirtan musician Gaura Vani and Prema Collective will perform at the festival. Festival of Chariots will feature a parade of chariots (Ratha Yatra). The parade will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Festival of Chariots will be held in conjunction with the City of El Paso’s Chalk the Block. The event is FREE and all are welcome!
